Nantes University is hosting the 2022 edition of the scientific day of the Western Pole of the French theoretical chemistry network (RFCT). Co-organized with CEISAM, this event will be held on November 7, in building 34 of the Lombardy campus.
Coming from the laboratories of the network (Angers, Caen, Le Mans, Limoges, Nantes, Poitiers, Rennes), about fifty participants are expected to exchange on their research activities in modelling. The scope covers molecular and solid state theoretical chemistry, biochemical modelling, bioinformatics and theoretical physics. The day is ordered around oral communications presented by PhD students and post-docs!
In addition, two plenary lectures are also scheduled in the tradition of thematic opening (B. Braïda, Sorbonne University) and welcoming recently recruited researchers/lecturers (S. Thébaud, INSA Rennes). To conclude this scientific day, a debate is planned concerning the Western Pole organisation and the ThéMoSiA federation setting up.
