SCF Energy Cross-disciplinary Division Day

On Tuesday 22 September, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (LS2N lecture hall, Nantes University, Lombarderie Campus, 2 Chemin de la Houssinière (Tram Line 2, Michelet Science stop)), CEISAM will be organising a scientific event aimed at a wide audience interested in the challenges posed by energy and the innovative solutions provided by chemists.

The event will centre on guest lectures (Fabrice Odobel from CEISAM, Thomas Devic from IMN and Bernard Lemoult from IMT Atlantique) covering a range of topics, from the development of photosensitive architectures to the establishment of a pilot plant for methanation, including polymer matrices for energy storage. We will also attend the division’s awards ceremony and hear presentations from the winners:

Georgeta Postole — Senior Researcher Award (Hydrogen and thermal energy storage materials)

Alexandre Terry — Thesis Award (Development of new oxyfluoride materials as anodic electrocatalysts for water electrolysis in an alkaline medium)

Ajeet Singh — Postdoctoral Award (Turning CO into Sugars: A One-Pot Electro-Organocatalytic Approach)

A day that will bring together materials science, electrochemistry, photocatalysis, molecular catalysis and energy conversion, with a common thread: imagining and developing the energy solutions of tomorrow.

Admission is free, but registration is required at the following address:
