AMaCC platform awarded the Nantes Université label

The AMaCC platform has just been awarded the “Nantes Université” label. Together with the MAPE platform, it is one of the first two platforms to receive this distinction. Congratulations to AMaCC on this achievement!

The AMaCC platform serves as a central support facility for academic and collaborative research projects requiring advanced analyses of small molecules, whether synthetic or naturally occurring. Its activity is driven by a strong scientific value-added approach, supporting complex and often interdisciplinary projects that require non-routine analytical investigations. The scientific fields covered by the molecules analyzed on the platform involve around fifteen external partners (academic and industrial) and are currently structured around three complementary major areas:

  • Fine chemistry: characterization, separation, and identification of high value-added molecules originating from advanced organic syntheses, innovative methodologies, catalysis, or materials chemistry.
  • Medicinal chemistry: support for projects involving bioactive molecules, metabolites, or compounds of interest for human health.
  • Environment and energy: analysis of pollutants, environmentally relevant compounds, and materials related to energy challenges.

The platform stands out through its role in supporting demanding research projects for which conventional analytical approaches prove insufficient, and where in-depth expertise is required to overcome specific scientific challenges.
