Jean-Michel Bouler, Professor at Nantes Université since 2005 and Director of the CEISAM laboratory since 2016, has been appointed Knight of the Order of the Academic Palms, a distinction that honors members of the educational community.For more than 20 years, his research has focused on the design, characterization, and functionality of hybrid biomaterials for medical applications.
He teaches (bio)materials science to students at the Health Campus of Nantes Université (Dentistry, Medicine, and Pharmacy) and is the co-founder of several biotech start-ups. His tribute was delivered by Bruno Bujoli, former director of CEISAM, with whom he collaborated closely for many years.
