The CHEM-Symbiose platform is dedicated to the custom synthesis of small molecules. Since 2013, CHEM-Symbiose has applied its expertise for numerous academic partners through two main activities : service offers and research collaborations.
Based in the CEISAM laboratory (UMR6230) at Nantes University, CHEM-Symbiose is labeled by IBiSA (Scientific Interest Group), the Biogenouest platform network, and the ChemBioFrance network through the CEISAM chemical library.
Since 2025, the CHEM-Symbiose platform is now certified as a “CNRS Research Platform” from CNRS Chimie.This certification will increase its national visibility, enables its continuous committment for high quality project management. This qualification will also strengthen its research relationships, particularly at the chemistry-biology and chemistry-agronomy interfaces, thanks to its expertise in all types of organic synthesis (glyco-chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, isotope labeling, cyclic oligoesters, etc…).
