The research activity of SYMBIOSE team is essentially focussed on natural or non-natural occurring bioactive molecules synthesis. One of its major priorities is to respond to new community challenges in the chemistry/health area.

This large field is developed through different approaches including multistep synthesis, development of methodologies in heterocyclic and radical chemistry leading to original multifunctional building blocks. This research is performed thanks to an increasingly strong network of private and public institutions.
